The five main elements that i think are in my novel are Suspense, Crisis, Conflict, the Plot, and lastly the Setting. I think suspense is the best element my book and any other book should have because it is what makes you want to keep reading and not want to put your book down because you want to know what happens next in the part of your book you are reading. A quote i find that has plenty of suspense is " He had seen Alex. He still had his gun. Once again he took aim.He was about ten yards away, and he had a clear shot." (Horowitz, Anthony, 132 )

The three qualities I expect in a "good book" is that it has to have a good opening paragraph that will grab my attention and want me to read more of the book. Another quality I expect is for it to have some sort of a good story line and something that I enjoy like some action and adventure. The last quality is for the book to explain the scenarios very well so I could imagine myself being there right in the book and so that I can picture in my head everything that is going on. Yes the books I have read so far are great books and they do exactly what my three qualities are and more.
