The three qualities I expect in a "good book" is that it has to have a good opening paragraph that will grab my attention and want me to read more of the book. Another quality I expect is for it to have some sort of a good story line and something that I enjoy like some action and adventure. The last quality is for the book to explain the scenarios very well so I could imagine myself being there right in the book and so that I can picture in my head everything that is going on. Yes the books I have read so far are great books and they do exactly what my three qualities are and more.

  1. Jake, I like the qualities you picked to be in a "good book". I agree with you that to read a good book there should be a good opening sentence. I like how you said that you enjoy books with some action and adventure. I personally enjoy those two genres too. And your last quality of a "good book" where you can imagine yourself right there sounds great! good post McCann.

  2. I agree most definitely with the three qualities you chose. I'm like you, I like a book that you can visualize while you're reading, so you feel as if you were there. good job!

  3. I agree with the qualities of a good book that you chose. Although I don't usually read action and adventure books I also look for these qualities in the books that I am reading.
